HAEL Author Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026 · Policy version 2026-07-29
You may propose a resource by emailing hello@hael.world without creating an account. A proposal does not grant author access or permission to publish. Approved authors remain subject to HAEL's review, conduct, and privacy requirements.
A HAEL author shares material and helps people strictly within a verified area of knowledge and practice. This policy describes that boundary and what happens when it is crossed.
1. Who this policy applies to
You may propose a resource by emailing hello@hael.world without creating an account. A proposal does not grant author access or permission to publish. Approved authors remain subject to HAEL's review, conduct, and privacy requirements.
This policy applies to every person who has applied for, or has been granted, author access on HAEL. It applies to published material, drafts submitted for review, public author profiles, and every conversation an author has with a HAEL user through the platform.
Accepting this policy is required before an application can be submitted. Acceptance is recorded together with the policy version, the date and time of acceptance, and the account that accepted it.
2. Verified specialization
Author access is granted for a specific, verified area of knowledge and practice. The specialization you declare in your application is reviewed by HAEL and, once approved, becomes the scope of your author access.
You may publish material and speak with HAEL users only within that approved scope. If you want to work in a new area, submit it for review first.
3. Communication rule
Any conversation between a HAEL author and a HAEL user must remain directly connected to the author's verified specialization and the purpose of helping the user. The author may not use access to users for unrelated personal, commercial, ideological, or promotional purposes.
Within a conversation, an author may address:
- the author's approved area of specialization
- the subject matter covered by the author's approved publications
- practical support directly related to that specialization
- helping the user understand or apply relevant information safely
4. Prohibited conduct
An author must not use HAEL conversations or publications for:
- unrelated commercial promotion
- selling unrelated services
- personal relationships or dating
- political campaigning
- religious pressure or coercion
- financial solicitation outside approved HAEL processes
- discussing topics outside the author's verified competence as if they were an expert
- medical, psychiatric, legal, or emergency advice, unless the author is appropriately licensed and the activity is explicitly authorized by HAEL
- manipulating, pressuring, diagnosing, or making guarantees to users
- requesting unnecessary private or sensitive information
- moving users to private channels for unrelated purposes
- harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct of any kind
5. Safety boundaries
HAEL is not a medical, psychiatric, emergency, or legal service. Authors must never present themselves as providing such services through HAEL. If a user describes a crisis or a situation that requires professional or emergency help, the author must stop the guidance conversation and point the user to appropriate local emergency resources.
6. Publication standards
Material submitted for publication must be accurate, respectful, non-coercive, and inside the author's approved specialization. All submissions pass through the existing HAEL review process before becoming public. HAEL may decline, block, or unpublish material that falls outside these standards.
7. Privacy and user data
Authors must request only the information genuinely needed to help a user. Conversation content must not be shared, republished, or reused outside HAEL without explicit permission from the user.
8. Consequences of a violation
Depending on severity and repetition, a violation may result in:
- a warning
- conversation restrictions
- publication restrictions
- temporary suspension of author access
- removal of author status
- permanent account restriction where necessary
9. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes materially, the version identifier is increased and active authors are asked to review and accept the new version. Until the new version is accepted, publishing actions and new author conversations are paused. A policy update does not by itself delete existing publications. Retention, deletion requests, and removal of content are handled under the applicable policies and legal requirements.
