Volunteer
Contribute a little time, a useful skill, or help with a specific project.
Begin with a small, clearly defined contribution. Tell us what you can offer and what commitment is realistic for you. We review proposals carefully and agree on the role before ongoing work begins.
If that resonates with you, you are in the right place.

What we ask
- ·Adults 18+ with a calm, respectful approach to people in difficult moments
- ·Reliability and clarity over speed or volume
- ·Willingness to follow HAEL's safeguarding and conduct expectations
- ·No clinical, therapeutic, or emergency advice given as a HAEL volunteer

How selection works
We review every application personally. If your context matches a current need, we follow up with a short conversation, a small trial task, and a clear scope before any ongoing commitment.
Conduct expectations
- ·Treat every person who arrives with dignity and patience
- ·Stay strictly within your role — do not give clinical or emergency guidance
- ·Protect privacy: never share information about users or internal operations
- ·Hold the calm, non-commercial tone of HAEL in every interaction
